Devotion Jiu-Jitsu

About Us

Devotion is a private, DIY Jiu-Jitsu club that was founded in 2017 in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains, near Lynchburg, Virginia.

We believe that jiu-jitsu should be a ritual practice, and that the mats can be the place where spiritual meets physical.

We share this philosophy and allow our larger, worldwide collective to show their support, with our biannual ‘zine, apparel and other merchandise.

Devotion has hosted seminars from legends such as Helio Soneca and Kurt Osiander, in addition to other live training events and competitions.
